Aerospace | GRHardnessTester.comNASA has released plans for the test flight of Orion, despite the recent spaceflight accidents.  Orion is set to launch on Dec. 4 from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.  The four hour test flight will evaluate launch operations, attitude control, avionics, the heat shield, and parachutes.  Orion travels at 20,000 mph and will circle the Earth two times.  The first flight for four passengers is scheduled to happen in 2021.  The total spending on this project is expected to been around $15 billion.
