CCCC-FHDI, a Chinese construction company, is creating what will set the record for the longest bridge in the world. When finished, the bridge will connect the east and west banks of the Peral River Delta and be 31 miles long. The project, which will cost a total of $12 billion, is meant to bring together manufacturing, finance, and tourism.
