Bollards | GRHardnessTester.comAccording to Dictionary.com, a bollard is a “thick, low post, usually of iron or steel.”  They are used to help control vehicle access control.  You might have seen them on the sidewalk to protect pedestrians but not even noticed that they were there because they can easily blend in with the rest of the design near by.   They are available in different sizes, shapes, and colors and can be used as a singular bollard or in groups.
